Crafting Memorable Stays with Bookable Experiences

Introduced and launched the innovative Bookable Experiences platform at JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District and The Westin Edmonton, driving non-room revenue and creating personalized guest experiences that highlighted the hotels' strengths and leveraged local culture.

At JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District and The Westin Edmonton, I spearheaded the development and launch of the Bookable Experiences platform, transforming how guests engage with the hotels beyond their rooms. The initiative aligned with strategic marketing objectives by introducing tailored, revenue-generating enhancements, designed to appeal to diverse guest segments—luxury travelers at JW Marriott and wellness enthusiasts at The Westin.


I began by identifying a critical gap: neither hotel had a platform to showcase unique offerings or generate non-room revenue effectively. After conducting thorough research and vetting technology vendors, I selected a seamless, guest-friendly solution. I managed the project end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional teams—including finance, operations, front desk, and food & beverage—to ensure smooth platform integration and alignment with the hotels’ brand positioning.


To enrich the platform, I developed partnerships with local businesses, showcasing authentic experiences that celebrated local culture and added value to guest stays. I became an in-house expert on the platform, providing training to empower team members and troubleshooting as needed to maintain operational excellence.


At JW Marriott, I took the initiative further by introducing elevated in-room amenities, enhancing the brand’s reputation for luxury and indulgence. This effort not only elevated guest satisfaction but also increased ancillary revenue and strengthened brand loyalty.
