Driving Engagement and Growth Through Creative Content and Social Media

Directed the creation of original reels and photos to highlight hotel amenities, from dining and wellness to family-friendly experiences, across digital platforms.

As part of my role in social media management, I combined strategic planning with creative execution to deliver measurable results for JW Marriott Edmonton and The Westin Edmonton. Collaborating with a local social media agency, local photographers, and videographers, I developed high-quality content that showcased the hotels' unique offerings, including the serene JW Garden, signature dining experiences, yoga classes at Archetype Gym, and family-friendly activations. I also managed the relationship with the social media agency for both hotels on a monthly basis to align content creation and campaign strategies with the hotels' business objectives, ensuring a consistent brand voice and effective execution. These creative assets aligned with brand values, resonated with target audiences, and played a pivotal role in driving social media engagement.


One of the standout successes was the Five Days of Legendary Experiences Giveaway, a holiday campaign that generated over 10,000 comments, 2,500 likes, and 1,500 new followers, effectively showcasing the hotels’ luxury offerings while fostering community engagement. This campaign highlighted my ability to blend creative storytelling with strategic promotion, further strengthening the hotels’ online presence.


Beyond individual campaigns, I implemented a multi-platform social media strategy that resulted in significant growth at both properties, achieving a 58.39% increase in followers and a 10.79% boost in engagement rates. By analyzing performance metrics and refining content strategies, I ensured that all campaigns not only enhanced brand visibility but also contributed to revenue growth by driving bookings and encouraging guest engagement. These efforts positioned JW Marriott Edmonton and The Westin Edmonton as leaders in digital engagement, delivering memorable, on-brand experiences to their audiences.
